A Big Hello From Texas

Hi everyone,

I just joined Doll Observers and I am looking forward to finding my way around the site. My wife is the primary collector in our home, but I do have a growing number of dolls I have purchased myself. My tastes are pretty eclectic, and include some Barbie and Ken dolls and some Fashion Royalty dolls. I really enjoy using my creative skills, so my biggest passion is making doll furniture and diorama accessories. I started doing this at first just so my wife could have some things to use for taking photos of her dolls. But that quickly changed into making things for our doll club and then to a hobby business. I have been making furniture and accessories for about 3 years now, and just really get a kick out of making new things. I am looking forward to making some new friends here.

Thanks for the hello John, it's great to get to know more about you. I'm sure everyone will love your work too and just like Ada we have some real diorama nuts here, including myself :)

Welcome John! That is what got me into dolls again(since I was a child lol!) was the dioramas and making items that fit to scale. I can't wait to see what you do!!
