Having done the interview with George G from Angelic Dreamz made me hanker for a real world doll shop just like his over in Canandaigua, NY. It would be wonderful to wonder round and actually see the dolls before you buy and see meet with other doll lovers too.

I can't remember the last time I went to an actual doll shop here in the UK!

So do you have a local doll shop to go to? Tell us all about it! :)

Yes, There are actually two in my area.  The one that's closest to my house is Windy City Dolls and Collectibles which is about 20 minutes from me and the other one is Gigi Dolls and Sherry's Teddy Bears which is about 50 minutes from my house.  They both have Barbie, Integrity, Tonner, etc.  I have to admit it's great being able to just go into the store and see the dolls first-hand before I buy them:)

We used to have a huge,as in 'largest in the world', doll store about 18 miles from my house. It was called The Doll Market and carried most of the major lines. Sadly the owner retired, and sold the business. It is now nothing more than drop-ship and not worth driving to. Sad.

Well, not only there's not a Doll Store in my area, but in my whole country!!! Maybe some basic Barbies at some department stores but that's it.I've gotten most of my dolls from eBay and since postal  service is not very reliable or some seller refuse to ship to Mexico I have all my purchases sent to a friend's house in Corpus Christy, Texas. I go there about twice a year for my "Doll Harvest", so sometimes it takes months to enjoy them!!.

In fact, very little people know what "Fashion Royalty", "Sybarite", or Jason Wu mean, ha, ha, ha!! You're so lucky GeorgeG!!!
