Dreaming of dolls...

I have a recurring dream about dolls. It is not always exactly the same but the theme and feel is always the same. I go to a toy shop or department store toy section and find myself surrounded by genuine vintage dolls of every description!. It's like being transported back in time with every hard to find doll and playset in pristine condition and at vintage prices too! Sometimes there are Barbies or Sindys or sometimes it is other toys such as Kenner Star Wars or Bionic Man/Woman toys.

The only problem is when I try to pick dolls to buy I cannot seem to decide or able to pick them up so I end up pacing the isles desperately trying to get at the items! Very Frustrating :(

Does anyone else dream of dolls??

Yes I have dreamed a few times about visiting a store that has vintage dolls, Usually all the Jem ones and I am then left pondering which I can buy as I don't have enough money. I always wake up gutted

Oh yes that is exactly the same as my dreams sometimes. It's just like when I was a kid with just my pocket money to spend. but so much choice. Sometimes those dreams stay with me all day lol!

Sometimes I must admitt I fall into my fantasy-doll world and I can bearly pull myself out. And this is all related to the fact that I'm not happy with some parts of my life (meaning I don't want to live in my country anymore...)

Oh Ada I'm sorry to hear that you feel like that. The whole world is mixed up at the minute and I think every country is a difficult place to live. But at least we have the beauty of our dolls!

I always do. I dream of winning rare dolls on Ebay, or going to a doll expo, writing articles about dolls... Doing the things that I do in reality on a regular basis :)

When I was a kid I had dreams of robbing a doll shop :D There was a very rich doll department in a shopping centre near my school, a lot of treasures could be found there in mid-1990s. So in my dreams I stole several Barbies from this shop and I was running away from the police and hiding to enjoy my new dolls :) Or there was another dream, about spending a night in a toy shop.

I've really spent several nights in a toy shop! My friends own one and I do some work for them, so....))
