HAIRSTYLE UNIVERSE YEAR END REVIEW 2012 (THE BEST HAIRSTYLES OF 2012 REVISIT)

Hi Everyone, this is your friend Yaz'mine. We have just started 2013, and 2012 is over. The Hairstyle Universe Family produced so many beautiful hairstyles in 2012. I thought it would be a great idea to revisit the best hairstyles from 2012. There are so many talented family members in our group. I feel there are times some photos may get overlooked, so I want everyone to receive credit for their work. I feel the Hairstyle Universe Year End Review may help everyone photos to be seen. I will add photos under this discussion everyday from our 2012 photo album. Please feel free to comment on every photo. I would like for the owner of each photo to add any comments, you have meant to add before or any new comments. I'm so proud of everyone in our family, you all are so talented. Here  some of my Gang's Hairdo

How should I wear my hair today???

Blondie, ready for christmas evening, I do change her hair on regular basis going from curl/perm to strait. (Gene doll)

I received Adriana as a gift, she was shaved so I did flock her head with pale sand yellow flocking from model building

for yoko it was an easy choice. being Japanese, with very strong roots and love of her culture the traditional hairdo was obvious.

when Yu arrived with those fun little "bun" I  basically didn't to change anything (except  that I remove a little tail that was popping out of them) this hairdo corresponded nicely with her character.

My Monique Wig Re-Syle, Modelled by the Gorgeous Sybarite Doll Venus

This was a Monique wig which came in an up-do but it wasn't really working for me so I took out the bun and let the resulting curls hang loose. I love this wig now and think it has a reall Farrah look! Hope you like it!!

Here is a photo of the very first Barbie that I gave a hot water perm to. I was so excited to start customizing projects. That was several years ago. Recently I haven't tried to do much with doll hair.

Saving Skipper!

Since this is related to hair style, I considered to post it here.

I received this Skipper from a good friend from Spain. Here are the "before" photos:

I gave her a bath and a reroot.
I'm an amateur re-rooter, so I don't think this is the best that Skipper could look but I'm happy with her.
I ran out of hair and then I used hair donated by an old Barbie so she has 2 tones that turned out good.
