Hello from Texas!

Hi everyone!  I'm Colleen, and I'm from Texas.  I was thrilled to run across this site via Twitter - and even more thrilled when I saw some kindred spirits loving on the Superstar Barbie era!  That's my favorite - especially the art work from that time.  It's my new collecting obsession. 

 

I really collect only Barbie - it's a space, $$, and true love thing - but I love all fashion dolls, so I'm always interested in other people's collections.

 

I'm also heavy into rock-and-roll, so a lot of my collection focuses on that theme as well.

 

Glad to be here - hope to be a regular contributor.  :D

Welcome to Doll Observers and thank you for the hello and introduction! I know what you mean about the superstar era artwork. I love that 70's look when a lot of time and effort went into the art (before photoshop!).

It's great to have you and I look forward to seeing what you bring to the doll table!

Hi Colleen!  I totally understand the space thing. My poor Skipper collection can't grow as quickly as I'd like because I don't have space to hold anymore!

Hi!!! İ am not from Texas. But i was there two years ago. I bought my marline monroe barbie there. So texas is so special for me.
