I am so happy to have been allowed to join this group. I discovered the world of Tonner Dolls about two and a half years ago and have been obsessed with them ever since. I have always loved to sew and love photography and now my love for these dolls brings all my interest together. I lost my dear husband from pancreatic cancer a little over a year ago. We were best friends and soul mates for over 35 years. I find that the dolls are a pleasant distraction for me now as I learn to get on with my life. It's nice to belong to a group like this where I can be myself and not have others whispering...she plays with dolls! I am among others here who understand! I look forward to making new friends and sharing my doll fashions and photos with all of you!

Welcome to the board. :-D Dolls are really good at helping us be creative, and in helping us heal some wounds. I hope your Tonners help you through this part of your life.
Love...B

Hi Bonnie,
Thanks for saying 'hello'!
I am so sorry to hear about your husband. You are most certainly with people here who understand you hobby and, as Barbara says, the comfort that comes from dolls.
Looking forward to seeing your creations
Thankyou Simon!

Hi Bonnie! Welcome to the club. I'm very sorry about your loss... I'm going through a similar situation with my mother in law as she has bone cancer. But here you can find a place of joy and happiness that will certainly make you smile.

I think creative hobbies are fantastic. I understand what you mean about the whispering, I collect dolls and model horses. Lot's of people whisper about me but I figure they must be jealous because I am having more fun than they are!
