Hi Valerie!  It's nice to see you.  What kind of Barbie do you collect?  Playline?  Silkstone?

I like lots of Barbies, but I have only 1 Silkstone. Most are playline, some collector (all deboxed and mostly redressed), and probably my favorites are the mods. I originally had 2 Barbies as a girl, one straightleg standard brunette and one Malibu. I still have them and some of their original fashions. As an adult I got a lot more mod and a few vintage Barbies.

I didn't intend to collect any of Barbies little sister or cousin dolls, and I have resisted buying any Kellys, but recently a friend gave me a Tutti and a Skipper and I also bought a Malibu Skipper because, well, she's irresistible. I also have a few Francies and Casey, so it's not strictly Barbies & friends. I admit I am sexist, though. I don't collect Ken or other male dolls. I just can't get as excited about dressing them as the girl dolls.
