Hi there from Ashley!

I'm Ashley.  :-)  I'm still trying to get a handle on all the different aspects of this site!  

 

I'm a 20 something daughter of a doll collector who ended up turning into one herself! My room is filled with Skipper dolls, Jem and the Holograms, My Scene, Monster High, BJD's, Gene...  And a vintage hard plastic Madame Alexander. I just recently gotten into those.  Aside from dolls, I also collect C3P0's and My Little Ponies.  :-)

 

Last year, I discovered re-rooting.  I've found it to be so much fun, albiet expensive!  I'm rooting a Chatty Cathy head right now and it's taken soooo many hanks of hair!!!  Seriously, I don't think I want to re-root with brown again for a very, very long time!  

 

My dream job would be writing/producing for kids television.  I grew up on Snick shows and things like The Elephant show with Sharon, Lois, and Bram.  They taught me alot, corny as it sounds.  I want to give back by making fun, entertaining, educational shows for kids!

Hi Ashley,

Thanks for the lovely introduction. I can imagine that re-rooting can be quite a challenge particularly on a doll the size of a chatty cathy! It will be very rewarding once you have done it though:)

Thanks for the welcome!  The re-rooting isn't hard, but sometimes it just take so long to finish a doll head!!!  It's quite fun, though!

 

Thanks for checking out the blog!  It's a work in progress!!!  I'm pretty happy with it so far!!! 

 

Yay for Star Wars fans!!!  Honest to goodness, I seem to be meeting a new SW fan everyday!
