How to revive dead hair?

Hey, guys!

I've got a question. How can you revive Barbie hair? I have a couple of dolls who've got the problem already. I cannot reroot - not one of my talents, sadly. Maybe, you have some ideas?

I use a solution of 1 part hot water and 1 part conditioner in a spray bottle.  Saturate the hair and comb through.  Some people use liquid fabric softener, also.  We don't because my daughters and I seem to be allergic to every liquid fabric softener we've used...

Hi.

I have used fabric sofner with good results, if the hair is very damaged leave it in for some days before washing the hair.

This might sound rather odd but it works fabulously atleast for me, i just wash the hair with regular soap, yes the one we use in the shower try it :)

I have big bottles of Suave shampoo and conditioner that I keep with my doll stuff, and I just wash and condition their hair and comb it out and let it dry. (Or sometimes I curl their hair.) When I get dolls from a thrift store, I bring them home and wash them and while the conditioner is in their hair, I comb the tangles out with a wide-tooth dog comb. It works great!

If you want to add curls, you can use straw cut up in 2 inch lengths as rollers, stick them in place with push- pins.

I use shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair, ( usually L'Oreal, or Dove). I use a comb and start from the bottom of the hair, and gently comb up the head carefully getting any tangles out.  then I use bedhead  to keep the frizzies down.
