Introduction

Hello!  I don't know that I really had a choice in becoming a doll collector...my grandmother and mother both gave me dolls as a child and I'm steadily converting my two nieces!  The oldest collects Monster High dolls and the youngest likes to help me re root (she'll pull the needles, but she really likes cutting off the hair!).  Although I love vintage Barbie, my latest obsession is all things pivotal and multi jointed I'm trying to either find or create a jointed vintage style Barbie...for the best off all worlds.  :-)

 

I am drawn to the 'much loved' dolls who need a bit of work to return to their 'superstar' roots.  And if I can stop one Barbie house from joining a landfill by refurbishing it...I'm probably going to do it.
