Some stunning dolls!! And yes I LOVE the chalk white Sybarite!!! It is amazing that something as rare as a chalk white is being auctioned on ebay (and her current bid prise... wowsers!)

Chalk whites are OOAK dolls handmade by the designers in their london studio. Usually they are only available via private sale. The selling prise is ususally secret and the buyer enters an agreement not to sell the doll within a set timeframe. One has never appeared on ebay before.

Oh wow. This is so interesting. I can see now why the price for this doll went up so high!

I just checked out the auction page...lots of fantastic OOAKs there! The artistic things you can do with fashion dolls is what really intrigued me to get into this hobby in the first place. I'm glad there are still some great designers out there.

I had never heard of Chalk White before either. That is cool that there is such an extremely exclusive kind of doll in the world, like a very fine champagne or a custom made super car.
