Today I went to a Hallmark store and saw  very cute and original key chain dolls. They were Japanese and called Kimmidoll. I never saw them, but I really liked them. When I came back home I checked the web and find out that they are 77 different dolls and each doll has her own name and her individual character. I bought the Yume, because she had a blue dress, and  blue is my favorite color. At home I found out that her spirit is imaginative and creative. She loves to dream as do  I. :) Do you have one of this dolls? Now do you like them? As a collector of African American Dolls (http://myafricanamericandolls.com/)  I can only imagine how they are going to look in Japanese style :)

Yes I have seen these dolls quite a lot here in the UK. I bought a Japan mad friend one as a good luck token a couple of Christmases ago. They are very sweet. Here is the site for those who are not familiar with them: http://www.kimmidoll.com.
I have never been a big fan of Japanese dolls, but Kimidolls are so quaint and cute. Having them them for good luck is a good point, Simon. Thanks!
I know these dolls, one of my buddy collectors brought a couple of them from somewhere while she was travelling, it was a long while ago. They're so sweet and colorful.

I had never seen this line before.  I'll have to see if I can find one 'in person'.  I like Japanese dolls and have seen this style of doll, but not the Kimmi.  Thanks, Simon, for the link to the site.  They are so cute.
