I initially started out as a collector of vintage Pamela Love dolls, but while searching for dolls and joining doll collector communities, I stumbled upon so many other stunning dolls. For a long time I didn't even think about buying one, but at some point I fell in love with Tonner's Ellowyne Wilde and my intentions of buying a doll other than a Pamela were getting more and more serious. Unfortunately though, I really can't afford Ellowyne right now. Yesterday I remembered seeing Moxie Teenz dolls, which reminded me of Ellowyne. I'd seen them online and in stores, but decided that I was a Pam doll collector, not a doll collector in general.

But.. when I was chatting to Mark here last night, I suddenly got inspired to buy myself a Moxie Teenz doll anyway. I chose Tristen. And I'm mighty happy I did, because it was love at first sight when I unboxed her. Can't wait to customize her though. I don't like her hair (a new wig is on its way) and I wanna try making her new clothes.

For now, this is what my Tristen looks like. I'll give her a new name once she has her new wig.

The Moxie Teenz are 14". Their feet can stand flat on the ground, but they can also be 'bent' so that the dolls can wear high heels. Just the way you please! They have exchangable wigs. They slide off quite easily though, I put some velcro on my doll's head to hold on to it a bit :P. I have just bought my very first LIV doll on eBay a few days ago, hope she arrives soon, they aren't sold in toyshops here. Only seen them in 1 Dutch store online and they would be less expensive if I just got them second hand from the UK.. so that's what I did :). I'm very curious!

They are still selling the Liv dolls here...I saw one today while looking for Moxie Teens. Need to go to the toy store...maybe tomorrow. Could be dangerous though $$$! If you'd like I can check the Liv prices and let you know. Would be happy to pick up new and ship to you for whatever the cost is.

Aw that's sweet, but getting them from the UK is cheaper and faster! ;)

Okay, funny day.. Not only did I receive my second Tristen, I also found a Melrose on a 33% off sale and couldn't leave her there... so suddenly, I have three! Lol!!

Got a free chair with my Tristen, too. Love it!

Lucky you! Fun dolly day! ♥

Okay, next time when Moxie Teenz are on sale, I'll only go for them if there are any Tristens... I'm SO not bonding with my Melrose :(. I can't love her like I love my Tristens. I don't know why. I love Tristens light eyes and fair skin, I can make anything work on her! Melrose doesn't trigger my creativity at all :(. Not sure what I'm gonna do with her now yet.

Two pictures of my second Tristen in her new wigs (LOVE the curls):
