Hi everyone! I am new to the forum and a little overwhelmed. There is so much to see I don't know where to start! I love dolls and have been working with 1:9 scale dolls for many years but finally decided I needed to do something different. I started working with 1:6 scale fashion dolls and I am loving the freedom! It's nice to just make whatever comes into my head.
I'm looking forward to "meeting" everyone and learning as much as I can. OK, time to go look at some pics and play with my dolls!

Permalink Reply by Anne Field on January 6, 2012 at 2:20 Thanks Cathy! I have looked around and little but still can't seem to figure things out. Could be because I keep getting distracted with a new doll I am working on, lol!

Hi Anne,
Thanks for the introduction, it's lovely to welcome you to our community :) I look forward to seeing your creations.

Permalink Reply by Anne Field on January 8, 2012 at 1:21 Hi Barbara. 1:9 scale is about 8 inches high. Fashion dolls are much easier to get nice, in-scale details on. I really would love to have a 16" doll to work with as well. One of these days perhaps.
