I have been looking for a more interactive doll site for sometime having joined others and found the only posting they did was to sell things and not have discussions.  Anyway I'm here in St. Louis a retired hair stylist, although still young it was due to back damage.Also did a stint in an upscale department store here in display. That was fun like dressing life size fashion dolls. I have always had an interest in fashion and hair.  Much to the chagrin of my younger sister as I plied my would be trade upon her dolls.   Collecting vintage Barbie for the past 15 years, and boy did Barbie come in handy when I was waiting for my disibility decision.  Then the Fashion Royalty line came along and I was hooked on them. I have gone through each generation and now I just have four of the "handspeak" models. That was one bad thing about the 3rd or so batch that came out the hands were larger than the opening of the sleeves, also I loved Mattel's Silk Stone clothing but not the SS doll so much. But found that that the SS fashions didn't quite fit the FR girls so I whittled down the back and sides of them until the SS fashions fit. Then Integrity came out with the larger feet dolls and I was not thrilled with those shoes so once again I got out my dremel and coarse emery board and gave them pedicures until they could fit into the regulation size heels.

So now I have a cross section of fashion dolls and accessories that I mix and match with. Sometimes selling one outfit I have grown tired of in order to purchase another one.
