I didn,t get it Mary Beth being a New Yorker Southerners speak another lanuage lol
I do collect Black Fashion dolls. I have a lot of Black Barbies, the fashionista Artsy and Christie being my two favorite face sculps. I can't wait to find the new so in style girls, who have the darker skin tones.
I also have many FR Adele's. I love all three sculpts of her. I also have Ameilia, who is simply beautiful, Dominiques, all the Darla's except one, who I haven't found yet. I have two Colette's and I hope to get more.
I don't collect many larger dolls, but I have two 16 inch girls, a jac repaint( she almost looks like an Eskimo) she is so beautiful, and Violet waters, who I put on an articulate body. Here are some pics of some of my girls.
Here are a couple more of my girls
I only had one black doll and it was Generation Girl Nichelle doll, but it was the dance party doll, and not the first editon one, which was the one that I really wanted but it was one of my favourite dolls. I told my parents that I wanted that doll because: "I don't have any black dolls". I was like 10 or 11 years old then.
I think I still have it at my mom's house. If I find it I'll take a picture of her and post it here
I have collected many black fashion dolls. I especially love the Barbie SIS, So In Style edition because of their beautiful face sculps and hair. Also, Integrity Toys has some beauties, including Colette. Ellowyne has a new friend, Lizette, who is beautiful too. I don't have her yet, but I will. I also have Nichelle.
LOL @TheGameofThrones reference. I am waiting for the DVD of Season 2 from the FLP here.

I just re-read my own post and I sounded awfully stuffy. "Sadly remiss?" I've got to remember how people actually talk, I've been watching too much "Game of Thrones." I'll be typing with my usual southern flair by tomorrow, if the good Lord's willin' and the crick don't rise!
These are beautiful
