I am all set for this year's Paris excursion and really can't wait, particularly as I was unable to make it in the end last year.

So which DollObservers will be there? Do you want to join a DollObservers table at the Luncheon? Shall we have badges and make up secret handshakes??

Seriously it would be amazing to meet any of you that will be at the show and spend some doll time together

I can't even afford to go to Paris, Missouri which is about 200 miles from me here in St. Louis, but, thouse of you that go do have a grand time.

Hi Richard, of dear sorry for that :( I must say I was in a similar situation last year and I am only across the channel from France! But I could not go to Paris without a Sybarite and as that is the most expensive part I had to skip it for a year.

Thanks for your good wishes. Check out the site in March for all the news of what's going on at the festival!

I am going! It will be my first. Looking forward to meeting many new people. Am already signed up for a table at the lunch but I will look for you.

I will arrive in Paris on the 7th and hope the weather isn't freezing. I haven't been in ages and love walking around. Would be a shame to have to spend all the extra time indoors.

I am not staying at the hotel Wed or Thurs either. I may try to get to the bar on Thurs night but don't really like the idea of traveling alone at night.

If anyone of you is not interested in the Barbie doll from the convention please let me know as I'm willing to pay for her in advance. PM me.

Paris dolls have been very poor recently...I'm not going and have no intention of ever going again. I went last year and it was pretty dire - the Hamburg Convention is much better for Barbie and the Milan convention just brilliant - I so hope that this will take over from Madam Moreau's ego trip. I have been to Paris probably 8 times and it used to be good.

I'm going to the Milan Convention. Can't wait. Will you be there?
