Why should fashion doll lovers join Doll Observers?

Hi everyone

I want to hear your answers to this question:

‘Why join Doll Observers?’

Let’s say you are trying to encourage fashion doll lovers to join our community. What reasons would you give to encourage them to join? What makes our community relevant to you? What do we do well? What makes our members great?

I want to hear all your ideas and hope to read a lot of answers over the coming days.

There are plenty of others who appreciate dolls, so they won't raise an eyebrow if you express enthusiasm about finding a miniature version of a print you have on your own wall, or a great place to find small feather boas.  I've actually just joined because most of my acquaintances would be shocked at the idea of dolls worth over $8.99 that need to be kept safe from curious little hands, and those are exactly the ones I'd love to talk about! :-)

This is a place where one can say, "Fashion Royalty's Veronique Perrin Style Counsel has such a gorgeous face that I've got duplicate heads!" and people will understand what I'm talking about. They may think it's silly, but will know to whom I'm referring nonetheless.
