Simon, your JAMIEshow St. Tropez Angelica looks so realistic, she could be a depiction of someone I know! The more I learn about different kinds of dolls, the more I'm entranced by their appearances. They're really fascinating.

In the first chapter, which I have finished, (though I'm in the middle of typing it in) Bella comes off as a responsible, perhaps too responsible, teenager who is understandably upset by the upheaval her life has undergone, but she is considerably less rude about it and tries to have a sense of humor about things as she winces through her first day of school. Do you want me to send you the first chapter after I have finished typing it in?

Speaking of dismemberment, I have a Kyori head arriving today! Need to find a deserving body - sometimes I just order things on impulse without thinking about what they'll match.

I just wish they had bendable legs
Permalink Reply by xGlamFairyx on November 29, 2011 at 2:30 Cool! And they'll probably be worth a lot more than retail in a few months, since there are already people fussing about how they're dressed... hang on to them!
(Envisioning Stardolls listed on EBay just below Tokidoki after enraged parents claim that their rooted eyelashes encourage kids to walk the streets.)

Hmmmm - I am rather burned out on fashion dolls at the moment - so I decided to concentrate on my Sasha collection for a bit....waiting for a few to arrive next week...After making Lalka I think it will be some time - if ever I can view dolls in the same way....

Hi Rose Red,
I love Sasha dolls too. Lovely faces and vibe about them. Do tell us more about Lalka?

Permalink Reply by cathy cole on December 30, 2011 at 0:02 I am really excited I got my first fully articulated barbie for christmas, She is great, I collect and salvage old barbie dolls and try to give them a second life. I find it gets harder and harder to part with them now, so my collection is growing.
