I found this great deal on ebay, but then the seller decided not to sell, after winning. I looked around at all the other dolls that are supposted to be 1990 Evening Elegance Barbie JC Penney Exclusive, and they all look different. Sometimes the dresses are different, and the face and hair, so just how many variations can they make for the same doll? The dress is pink and silver and I don't have her, so I can't post a photo. I saved the photos, but I don't know if I can post a photo that is not mine. But if I can, later I will post a photo of the doll.

The Evening Elegance Barbie that you're talking about is a doll that begins the Evening Elegance Series. My friend has this Evening Elegance in the pink and silver dress, I can ask her to take a picture.
thanks it would be nice to have a photo posted legally.

Here she is. Sorry for the lame quality, the lighting was bad and it was late in the evening :) The doll belongs to my friend Marina Pismenskaya.
No, I like that photo I can see her eyes. Thank you. I don't feel that badly about losing the doll now, because I know I have a doll with similar eyes from the same era.
That's the criteria that I meet for the first time, do you choose the dolls because of the special shape of their eyes, or eyecolor? That's unusual and interesting!
As for me, I'm ready to buy Superstar dolls over and over again if they have large eyes, like in early 90's because they are familiar to me since childhood :)
I like the big eyed 90's dolls, and I have a superstar I got on ebay, I had to wait and look around a while before I was able to find the right one, but she is gorgeous. I always care most about eyes, then lips, and then hair.
