I saw this doll on ebay, but I was thinking that Barbie is not sold in Japan only Jenny. Is Barbie sold in Japan? But more over this doll looked at bit sketchy because I could not see the doll and the writing on the box, but it was supposte to be in the box, but if I can't see that, how would know it's not a knock off? It looks kind of like a Jenny crossed with a Barbie and the seller is in hong kong, and I hate to buy over sea, because I have been ripped off before over seas, and it's very hard to get any satisfaction, and the shipping takes a super long time, and it's impossible to return it, due to the expensive shipping. If I really liked this line, I would like to see some more choices before making a decison to buy.

Barbie is definitely sold in Japan - but I don;t know anything about this doll. If you have any doubts - don't buy! ( Likka chan is even more poplar in Japan than Jenny - or she was - not sure about now - I used to love Jenny..)
yes, I do collect some Jennys also, I have one Licca, she is kind of like the smaller younger skipper dolls. I did a lot of on line searching, but could not find anything more about that japanese line other then what was on ebay from that one seller, so I thought I would ask and see if anyone knows more about them. It may not be a Mattel, it could be a knock off, not that is bad per sec, but sometimes the knock offs are kind of cheaper plastic, and not that nice.
