Barbie Basics

My huband just purchased one of the babrie basics dolls for me today and I would have to say that if you don't have one you should.  She has a model muse body, painted finger nails and does come with a coa.  The one he purchased for me has wounderful highlighted hair and I love the idea of each one having a different style "little black dress" on.  I also love the idea that if you get tired of her wearing the same black dress you can purchase one of the Barbie Basics accessorie pack add a belt, a purse and different shoes and WHALA, a totally different outfit.  She even has metal snaps on her dress instead of velcro, I myself have not see these on barbie clothes in years.  The only thing I do not like is her stand, she doesn't fit on it well but that doesn't stop me from buying the others in the collection.

Yes, and I can hardly wait! There will also be new Ken basics and they don't have the cheesy grins - WOO-HOO!

I absolutely adore the Basics. Just wish they'd make some full separate fashions for them. For me, they're everything that Barbie ought to be - a doll to take out of the box and play with, restyle, not just look at behind a plastic wall. Plus, so affordable! Can't wait for the jeans ones! And the Kens!!

They have separate fashions for this line and they look amazing! Hopefully they'll be just as well made as the FR clothes. At least that's my wish.

There are pictures on Sandi Holder's website of all of the new dolls in the 2.0 collection. They are all stunning. Damn, I was hoping they'd be ugly so I wouldn't want to buy them. LOL!
