I wish they made collector sets with furniture and stuff. With no pink.

I agree. That's why I loved the My Scene playsets - they were realistic and cool! The Jonathan Adler sets were good but again a bit too much pink :) But very cool and good quality.

 

The Silkstone vanity and other sets from a few years ago were remarkable and show what Mattel are capable of

Yes, they are capable of great things, but they just don't do it often enough....

oooh I LOVE the Movies to Munchies set, that TV is fabulous! Not caring much for the barbie profiles in the furniture, but as a whole the set it really nice!

They don't appeal to me, which is good because there are so many other dolls that do. Whew, won't be tempted here. Like Deborah wrote before me, the Barbie profiles are off-putting. Imagine the ego of someone having her or his profile on everything they own. Shrug. No thanks.

I'm just glad to see them making new play-sets. They seem to be fading from popularity.

Maybe it's just my part of the country... But play sets seem to be hard to find in a store. I order most of mine from Ebay.

Hmmm... Maybe. I see a lot of them in my country, Romania, and all over Europe.
