Simple question really... does this cheap little version of Blythe have ANYTHING to do with the real Blythe? The thing is, I'd love to have one of these to accompany my 6" dolls in their dollhouse, but if she's a pure fraud I don't think I'll bother getting her :P

Is she a ripoff or did Hasbro make a deal with the official producers? What's up with this Blythe?

No one?

Okay, so I found out they're official Blythes, just a cheap and simple version with eyes that can't move and all. Now I'm wondering, do regular Petite Blythes have eyes that can move..?

Hi!

I have a couple of these cute LPS Blythe dolls, both are still in their packaging as they are from Christmas. lol I don't have and have never seen in person one of the regular Petite Blythes, but I think you can find a good comparison somewhere on flickr. I think they can be quite pricey. :-)
I don't think the Petite Blythes can move their eyes, but I'm still not sure...

Just like the LPS Blythe, Petite Blythe can't move her eyes.

I might get a Little Pullip instead by the way. Man, those are cute..!

As far as I know, the brand officially belongs to Hasbro so these dolls are "official Petite Blythe" too. But cheaper and more "plain".

Petites can't move their eyes at all, they have sleeping eyes only. My friends own several so I can tell. But, at least some of the petites can bend their legs (not by "clicking").

i have three of the lps blythes, and am really in like with nellie nibbles but have so many questions like do her eyes move? can she easily wear other clothing and if so what and where do you get them?
