Permalink Reply by Lisa Neault on February 2, 2013 at 19:50 Excellent idea! I made a manger/stable for a Christmas nativity scene I did this year using the dolls dressed as the Holy Family, shepherds, Wise Men, and so on. It doubles as a spooky crypt and stable for other dioramas I do with the vampire dolls and sideshow Buffy slayer dolls.
Thanks Leonella
You are welcome to share what you have made :)

Thanks Lisa! yes and there could also double as seats for a stadium or lecture room too. It's great when pieces have more than one use :)

for Spa day , one of the first story my friend Anne & myself we created some years ago. I made all my diorama with carton and recycled craft paper. of course it does show it was not too "professional"but Oh my doll what fun we had!!
here a couple of other pics (you can see more in my website domidoll.com
here I am having a mud treatment. (I used wet paper craft that I molded to Lilly's body then let it dry hard, after this I painted parts of it brown to give some wet appearance)
Here Mary is ready to enter in the sauna cabin (as you can see it was indeed carton board) the charcoal is lighted with Christmas light (battery powered).
this is such a neat idea!!

here another use of cardboard. I have used french fries container that I have covered to do seats for a fashion show
and in the Log cabin cafe the seats as well are made with french fries container (left as is, it give the commercial feeling one can fin in such place)
behind Olga (the waitress) the back bar shelves are made of cardboard as well, then finished with a silver ribbon glued on the edges
very inventive Lily!
