I love dioramas and miniatures, and Hinamatsuri, the Japanese Girls' day festival, otherwise known as the doll festival is celebrated on March 3rd. I posted pics of this on Doll Divas and my blog. I have a small collection of my mother in law's Japanese dolls from when they briefly lived or traveled to Japan years ago, and this has always fascinated me.
The doll is a Barbie Basics head on a LIV doll body, and a friend made the kimono, which is one of my favorite outfits. The set is the Re-ment Hinamatsuri set.

Oh my Doll!! I have never seen a Hina-ningyo set in 1:6 scale. Rement is amazing. This diorama is absolutely adorable.
