the toile came from France (were else eh? this is the true origin. the real name is "toile de jouy" is and it is originated from Jouy en Josas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toile)
the desk is not packing foam, but made of wood ,I used foam behind the toile (like panel) 1 with toile the other with burgundy plain fabric
I've made the desk drawer with matchboxes and finished the edge of the desk with cotton braid/trim painted in white.
recycling is the key.
