Imagine my horror when I discovered that my beloved Sybarite Venus is losing one of her eyelashes :(

Does anyone know the best way to repair one?

Many thanks in advance!

Is it a strip lash or individual? well, either way I use E-6000 glue for almost all doll repair. Try putting some on the end of a large needle or pin perhaps a tooth pick, the round style with pointed end and put the glue on the end of the lash that attaches to eye lid, press in with another toothpick or end of large pin/needle. Let me know if this works for you.

Thanks for the tip Riachard. I am going to get me some of this glue. I just located some on Amazon!

Will keep you posted on how I get on :)

I am in the same position with my Santuary, just have to get the nerve (and steady hand) to do it! Thanks for the information Richard! Good luck to you Simon!

I shake a bit too. Just try not to put too much glue on at a time. The residue can be lifted off with a tooth pick or pin. Speaking of tooth picks, Why is it so hard to find those round ones with the real pointed ends???

Here is another tip for you my friends.  If you have a vintage Barbie/Miss Barbie wig stand and the wigs are melted on I recently found that if you put them in boiling water they will come off with little to no hair/plastic loss. Let the water come to a boil.  Dunk, drop, place the wig stand with the wig on it.  Let sit for 3 minutes, use a timer.  Then with kitchen tongs pull out hold with towel as it will be hot.  Use a table knife, a regular one not heavy duty paring, cutting one, and gently run the edge of the knife around the edge of the wig base.  This should make it easy to remove. I would suggest you do one at a time.  Also when the wigs and stand is dry, I apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to prevent this from happening again. I have not tried on a Miss Barbie head but I would imagine it should work the same way.  As far as I know the wigs don't stick to Fashion Queen Barbies' head.

Thanks again Richard, this is exactly why a created this group as it is great to share our members' expertise :)

Keep 'em coming gang!
