Fashion doll Repainting and Customizing is a new kind of Pop Art. Creating an unique doll requires a lot of work, but the results are absolutely worth it!

This group is a place where you can share your own creations but also share your knowledge in repainting, rerooting, sewing...

If you never did an OOAK before, but you would like to start and need some tips, than you´re perfect here as well.

(Only redressed doll into not selfmade outfits are not OOAK...just in case you´re wondering)

Check out the pages on the right! If you would like to start a new category, just write a comment and I will open a new page.

I hope you´ll have fun in this group and I hope that we will learn alot from each other

Hi everyone! Let me introduce you to my latest creation

This is a customized Moxie Teenz " Tristen" I really love how she turned to be with this gown and hair style; all made by myself

She looks really good, badvalentine. What did you do-- repainting, rerooting, restyling? What doll was she to begin with?

Val, you take it easy. Your re-roots are great. You put a lot into each one and that shows.

Thanks for the nice comments on my Muffy. I think I just have a trauma now -lol

Lulemee, I respect those profesional re-rooters.

Hi Nilsa,  You did a great job of your Muffy girl.. She looks so gorgeous..  I agree with Lulemee - rerooting takes a long time to do properly.. Lulemee's OOAK creations are truly fabulous.. When I am well I likererooting - I get alot of satisfaction in rerooting a silkstone in the original hairstyle - just in a different color and it is a great way to learn how to create different hairstyles too..  Here is one of my silkie reroots I did ages ago..  With my illness I have only just started rerooting again as therapy and to give me something to work towards..but it is now a very slow and painful process.. but one plug at a time - hopefully I will get through this reroot in a month or so.. I used to be much quicker before my illness.. but being able to do some is better than not being able to do anything....Val

Rerooting is really time stealing, even the experts need some hours to make a full reroot! I don´t have the patience for rerooting, so I´m always searching for dolls with the right facemold AND the right hair for my OOAKs... that is really anoying
