I like to do boil perms on some dolls. Here is Superdoll Innoquii after her boil perm

The Innoquii Bride arrived with a long straight ponytail.  I left the ponytail in and used vintage metal doll rollers to roll up her hair, dunked it in boiling water for about 45 seconds, let it air dry and gave her nice tight curls that I fluffed out.

I've had those doll hair curlers since I was little.  I kept my original 1958 18" Dollikin doll and had these rollers in her trunk.  You could try Ebay to look for them.  There must be more around out there.
