Comment by Yaz'mine Ferrari on December 25, 2012 at 3:17: Hi Richard, this is Yaz'mine. Keeping dolls hair up can be a hard task to do. All doll's hair is different. I tried many different ways, however over time dolls hair loses it's volume after many washings. Here are some steps that may help you keep the volume just a little longer. Apply a dime-sized amount of conditioner into her hair. Comb the conditioner into her hair. Avoid rubbing/massaging the conditioner into the hair, as this can cause mats and knots. Leave the conditoner in for about 10 minutes.

Rinse the conditioner out with cool water. Because the hair is made of a plastic, never wash it under hot water as it can start to melt. Wrap a small hand towel or a piece of paper towel around the hair. Squeeze gently to remove excess water.

Apply a dime-sized amount of baby shampoo to the hair. Comb the shampoo through with a brush, leave shampoo in for 5 minutes, then rinse the shampoo out with cool water.
Spritz the hair with a leave-in conditioner to keep the hair shiny and tangle-free. Richard I hope these steps can help you in the future. Let me know it this works. Merry Christmas to you & your family. Hugs to you my friend. Yaz'mine.

When you first get the doll its full of body and it looks fantastic but after a while especialy if you shampo it the body just dies out and just goes limb and I try everything to get it back the way it was I used expensive volumizing shampo but nothing works
