I was experimenting with making a "genie ponytail" for a doll, but needed a doll with short hair, so my newest sybarite, Sinatra, got it. I had some doll rooting hair in the burgundy red color. I made a cardboard tiny cone for the base and microbraided some rooting hair and wrapped it around the cone, glued it down and then threaded some hair down thru the top of the cone for the ponytail. It almost matches and was fun to do.
