Yay Lisa!!! You must be thrilled to add Gill to your collection!  He looks perfect next to beautiful Lagoona!

Sorry for being so scarce lately, many reasons, but basically not enough time to take new photos.  Time is available VERY soon, and it is FINALLY warm and spring-like here to take outdoor photos.  I hope you're doing well! Have fun with Gil!

OMG Lisa!  You attract Beetle people!  I've had my bug since 2002.  It was my first new car, and I negotiated the deal all by myself.  I don't travel far or much, so even though my car is 10+ years, it has low milage and wear.  I can't think of any other car I'd like to drive, so I've kept it.  My friends say it suits me :)

I finalized my theme entry and will be posting it shortly.  I have some busy days coming up, so I won't have much doll time, but I'm always checking in here to see what's up.  I'm also in "trade talks" with my friend from whom I recently obtained my original MH dolls.  She might trade me an original Ghoulia!  She's currently my most wanted Ghoul ;)

OMG! Annette my sister drove a blue bug convertible until last year. Before that. White bug! She loved her bugs! She bought a Kia soul this year to be able to take my dad and mom around since dad moved in with her and my Mom. Long story for another time. Love your yellow one you look so happy in it! It suits you!! Didn't have time for doll room this weekend. Hoping for some time this week after work. Did have so e dolls come in the mail. Hoping for so e pix time this week after work! Hope your well and had some play time!

You are so cute Lisa, I love that your dolls rule your free thinking space!  Isn't it nice to have something to look forward to?  Like, getting home from work to play dolls....the weekend is coming, so there will be more doll time....new dolls are coming in the mail........will there be new dolls at the store today?

I am sure one day your quest for Gil will be fulfilled.  I agree that hundreds of dollars for a MH doll is too much!  If we do see him in a five pack, (Dance dolls) I'm betting the ebay asking price for the original doll price will go down.

Sorry to hear about your illness, but it certainly sounds like you have a great attitude toward it.  Chronic pain is tough :(

I agree about buying things! I find the best part is sharing the doll fever lol!!! I'm not a clubbier or a drinker. I like a drink on occasion but I'm not someone who likes to go anywhere but TRU and any other doll isle lol!!!my doll friends are the best kind of friends!my job is demanding. My love of dolls rules my free thinking space lol! I look forward to talking Dolls! It's my down time. You have to be a doll person to get another doll person lol!! Ty for your sneak peak yellow theme photo. Gorgeous! I did open the newest editions lol! You're right Ghoulia is awesome!!! Of course draculaura and her tub and sink vanity is amazing! I also found first run Frankie great price on line she is coming in a few weeks! Still no luck with finding first run Gil! It's driving me nuts....I just can't see paying the money they're asking on line some are over three hundred dollars I think that's way way to much. I wanna get first round Clawdeen and lagoona! How is your week going? I'm so happy tomorrow is Friday. Oh and the reason I love the cats MH is they remind me of my sister. She collects figurines but I have give her MH cats and a few others. She and I are diagnosed with auto immune illnesses she has lupus has had it since she was young. I have osteoarthritis and nerve And disc disease in my neck, spine knew and feet. Both of us work very hard. We try not to let the illnesses get the better of us. We have the diseases they don't have us! Ya know! My fur abides are sitting here with me. My yorkie is curled up so close to me on the couch. Lol my peke is laying I. Her bed! Lol! Looking forward to more picture taking and sharing dolls with ya!

Thanks for sharing your doll story Lisa.  I get it!!!  It is so cool that we are grown-ups(?) and can buy ourselves any and all the toys we want!

You will have so much fun with all your new stuff!  The Ghoulia doll with the scooter is a favorite of mine.  She has green lips, a great outfit, and awesome boots!

Sorry for no comments yesterday, touchpad and keyboard on laptop died.  Got that fixed (on my own :)  by doing a hard reset.

Anyway, went to TRU to check out MH dolls on sale.  I bought nothing.  The only dance dolls they had were Operetta and Lagoona.

I'm still working on my mellow yellow theme picture.  Here's a sneak peek.  I have one more background to try......

My doll collecting took on a whole new level today!!! The other night there was a sale on line at TRU! My daughter was ordering other things for her significant other (he collects hot wheels)! I asked her to order two TRU exclusive MH dolls for me to be seen later in my pixs! So this afternoon i was sitting at work and I received a tex from my daughter with a pix attached featuring two large boxes!!! Only containing two doll packages!!! While sitting in my meeting I saw the enormity of the boxes with my daughters tag line that made me laugh right out loud!! "really Ma!" Lol!!! Made my day! Who better to share with who would understand not on,y my purchase but my daughters funny reaction!!! Tomorrows Friday thank God!!! Happy doll collecting!
