I do love Asiatic(and ethnic in general) sculpt.  I would agree with Mary Beth, Carrie looks softer than Akemi.

all depend of course of the type of character you are looking for you doll

Carrie is without any doubt gentle and friendly (maybe a bit naive) 

Akemi is firm, dominant, and introvert (may be even mean)
 

I would personally go for Carrie

Thanks, Lilly!  - Yes that's my mini-me standing next to Adrian (Aragorn), and they're all being charmed by my Broadway alumni, Jack. (He's standing in front of the piano with his arms flung flamboyantly out in the air)

I can almost ear the piano! they seem to be all charm by the pianist. is it you standing in a black dress? (just on the left side of the pianist) what a delicious photo. thanks

you are totally right  my guys will certainly get together to have some fun with the music! (I still have others instrument  cello, harp, trumpet and English horn but they need some work (I will certainly invite some girl and try this for the music night on june 21 (in france)

@Lilly: Wow, that's quite a collection of instruments, and from so many different places, too! Even though they are not a band, I still think your guys should get together and have a jam session every once in a while!

 Thanks for the compliment on the re-rooting, I just finished a new one, I should have some pics up soon! The dredlock thing was some wishful thinking, after I saw Lenny Kravitz in that gold leather getup, wailin' on that guitar, dreds flying, I never quite got over it! (swoon)
