Comment by Lilly, Chevalier-Fox yesterday one of my men is Irish is name is Sean O'Farell and I wanted an Aran sweater for him. unfortunately my skill as knitter is quite limited and it took me a while to do something close anough to satisfie him :
up here you have the original Aran sweater for the O'farell clan each clan as its own pattern.
now this is what I came up to for Sean. of course it is fare from perfect but ...you got the idea! :)
That's excellent. You did a very neat job. Your dolls are lucky to have a real leather handbag.
Comment by Lilly, Chevalier-Fox on May 3, 2012 at 16:41 yes this totally belong here !! it is a no-sewing project but very well done !! my girl are drooling in front of this little bag

I like your bag, Kate. If you don't mention it, no one knows if it is glued or sewed togheter.
Good job.

Comment by Kate Fosk on May 3, 2012 at 14:57 I think this is *almost* a sewing project cough*glue*cough.
I made this doll's bag from some scraps of glove leather, it's lined will wool felt...but decided to make it non opening in the end.
This was fun to do

Comment by Rebecca Pettigrew on April 11, 2012 at 22:18 it's a great site. You're welcome
thanks for that link Rebecca!!
Comment by Rebecca Pettigrew on April 11, 2012 at 17:44 I got the idea from a tutorial on My Froggy Stuff. It's a blog about making doll accessories from recycled and everyday household stuff. My girls ADORE it. It was a HUGE resource when we were building the Barbie house.
And I also made the shoes... they made me cuss a lot...
Comment by Kate Fosk on April 11, 2012 at 17:20 Very clever! Looks great too.
