I got my Millenium Ball Tyler on EBay, but she was nude. I tried several times to buy her outfit on eBay, but always get outbid... So I went and got me some silver lame and made my own!

It was frustrating! And it's not perfect. But from a distant looks good, lol! Sorry for the picture quality, I took it with my iPad!

I think it looks great!!

oh my, you did well!

I was in love, some years ago, of an outfit (for barbie) and could not afford it. so I made  it not to sale of course, it was a suit pant and jacket with a hat the all thing in white false leather cannot remember the name though. it was a pain as my sewing machine refused to sew false leather hee hee

Now I will have to find back the pic.

Yea, Lilly, will like to know what fashion was it!

Oh, it looks very nice, Rebecca. Good for you for finishing it even if the process wasn't completely enjoyable. I can relate to sewing frustration.

copy cat in my time too

I was in love with this "leather" suit for Barbie  it was named Up town chic (by Kitty Black) left pic

I could not afford it in this time so I've made a copy of it for my own pleasure. I still have it and this photo(on the right was taken this morning) the doll was a second hand doll and I am still very surprised to see my fabric held the time very well.

I like your version better!
Turned out great, Lilly

thanks Rebecca . I think @ this time this was so different, and I am (personally) a pants fan.

thanks Nilsa
if it 's not see to close it's still ok, but a close up shows pretty well the trouble with my sewing machine

Same with my sewing! I am terrible with hems...

not easy to have fun eh?

My dear, it looks pretty good in the picture. Tonner doll clothes are expensive but they are so perfectly made...which for something in miniature, is outstanding. You also get stockings and perfectly made shoes--that's why it's so costly. I make my dolls clothes as well. The more you make the better they get!! Still, your first dress is already quite nice.
