from the sleeve of a t-shirt, I made a bathing -suit for Kate, but I still have some left over. as nothing is to be lost.... I cut 2 identical pieces, finished all around with a surjer trim, I sew together, where Kate hand is placed
ironed flat open
folded down, sew all along the bottom, (Kate hands)
ironed the seam flat, and turn everything over
"Et voila" a little easy done , arm-warmer, just in case she has to stay out late :) Tags:

Permalink Reply by Deborah Steinmetz on July 28, 2011 at 16:43 Oh no Lily, I'm sorry you miss understood. :-) By lipstick red I was actually talking about a bright red color for the skirt! Her makeup is beautiful! Hmm we use the term Lipstick red, Crayon red and Fire Engine red to describe a brilliant primary red color. Sorry for the confusion. :-(
