Here I want to share some photos of my most recent sewing project. The owner of this doll is my friend  Lalys from Argentina (also a member of this community).

This fashion is inspired by one of my home country (Panamá) traditional's costumes.

It is called "Pollera" and the embroidery is all done by hand.

This is amazing! I love the embroidery and lace! She must have taken you ages, I just love all her details - the jewellery, her beautifully-styled hair... so inspiring!!

Thanks X&X, this one took me about 3 weeks. My hands are doing better from the Carpal tunnel and my husband got me a lamp with a magnifying glass that really helps a lot!

she is sumptuous!! the style is so gorgeous!! the embroidery are perfect! you did a great great job

I found a close resemblance with the Mexican traditional costume. (like Chiapas region) I lived in Mexico 2 years and loved so much this culture. never been in Panama (yet) but for sure would loved it !!

That's beautiful!! I love the little bows on the shoes and the nice jewelry.

Thanks Lilly, below is a picture of myself wearing a Panamanian cos...

Will look online to see the ones from Chiapas region.

That is a lovely dress and really suits the doll.  What a good job!  I know your friend will love it and will think of you each time she sees it.
