Hi, Nilsa!

It's a very beautiful work. But I have a small remark - I find this jewelery really amazing but a bit too heavy for this kind of dress. The rest is absolutely priceless! Great job!

Hi Catherine, thanks for your comments. I grew up seeing all the big jewelry that goes with this dress so  I'm biased.

The "pollera" includes a lot of jewelry and yes, I can tell you that all those chains are really heavy plus everything on the head -lol

Of course it is worth a lot of money. As a colonial tradition, the jewelry wore was a symbol of social status. On present day, one can rent the jewelry.

It takes more than a couple of hours to put this on.

The pictures you've suggested are amazing, it is so interesting to get to know foreign cultures! You've created a design that accurately represents the costumes! My best compliments!

@ Nilsa"oh my, I am so so please with those links! what a really enriching information. I love costume as well a costume history and traditional costumes. it is great to now more about the tradition from other countries through the outfit . thank you Nilsa
