Ohhhh Lilly, what a heartwarming story! And now you have a little keepsake of every single lovely sheet your dear Mother chose! Kimonos are fun! And Yoko is one lucky gal indeed!

I've only recently started playing with my sewing machine again, so my talents are raw lol. But I'm finding it so very relaxing and my girls are all getting new fashions now!  Thank you so much!!! xoxo

@ Deb

my mother has a medical bed (she is 83) and the size (width) of it doesn't correspond to the standard bed sheet sold on catalog. Colored bed sheet was always her soft point  so as she had to cut the all side length of the bed sheet and/or comforter this give me, each time, a narrow strip of cotton or two as I got the complementary color from the under comforter

I could indeed do something else with this but Kimono are so fun and Yoko wad quite in need and you see I shouldn't take any credit from my good choice of colors

Lilly, I adore this kimono! And you made it from a bed sheet?! That's ingenious! I love the print, the colors - everything about it!

Well I have to say that you have more than gotten your money out of those bed sheets!   I love the kimono.  Your dolls are very lucky to have their own personal seamstress.
