Comment by Kate Fosk on February 24, 2012 at 11:06 Love the puff sleeves and the gathered edge of the blue dress Andy, looks wonderful!
Comment by Xavier and Xenobia on February 24, 2012 at 9:17 I'm loving seeing the dresses everyone has sewn! I made a pattern (very carefully!) from a Sindy Dream Date dress this week and am hoping to get some of them made next week, might be a bit of trial and error involved!!

Comment by Anne Field on February 23, 2012 at 20:10 @Andy thanks for the tip. I wouldn't have thought to make that dress in two pieces (but my "Marylin" dress was...). I could always add a belt to it as well. What a great idea!
@Lulemee, fantastic outfit! I love the 50's style dresses and really want to make some. I'd also really like some more hats in my doll collection. It really is too bad that more people don't wear awesome hats these days :)
Comment by andy sorensen on February 23, 2012 at 19:31 super cute lulemee, i LOVE the hat!

Comment by andy sorensen on February 22, 2012 at 19:28 thanks for the compliments!!! i'm just glad i got something finished out of my half done pile of stuff, iv'e been starting all kinds of stuff, and not finishing lately... @anne it was super easy to make, the skirt and top are separates, and i used the flowers to cover up the seam, so basically it's just two rectangular pieces of fabric.....
Comment by Kate Fosk on February 22, 2012 at 15:51 OO very elegant Andy, love the gold motifs, looks very 'designer'.
