Information
A group for fans of the British doll Sindy. Sindy was first produced in 1963 by Pedigree Toys and was highly popular in the UK throughout 60s, 70s and 80s.
She was later produced by Hasbro, and others, but most collectors view the pedigree dolls as the real deal.
Tonner dolls have recently announced that a repro of the vintage Sindy is in the works for 2013.

I recently found a Sidny wardrobe and bathroom sink at a second hand store that I purchased. I find her furniture to fit better to scale than Barbie's and don't get me wrong I LOVE Barbie but it seems like 8 out of 10 Barbie "items" are always pnk. I love the fact that Sidney's furniture or items are more useable if you are going for that "real life diorama" .
