Online finds

What do you look for when you're buying dolls online? Do you prefer NRFB or in need of some TLC, or both?

 

I personally started out buying all the Pamela Love dolls (and other Ocean Toys dolls) I could find. I ended up with loads and loads of bodies and heads to use, but most of the heads have dry, tangled hair. When I found out that even Pamelas show up on eBay NRFB, if you look hard enough, I focused all my attention on those dolls. I don't have a lot of money to spend as a student, and buying all the dolls I can find is a dream for the future :P. For the moment I have more than enough old dolls to reroot and restyle, so I try (:P) to only buy dolls MIB right now.

The horse back rider in the German ad is 100% a Pamela Love... where's this Suky doll you're talking about? Can't find her in the Name that Doll group :)

That's funny, posted a while back and no one replied, but I lost the aution. I decided it must be miss match box, because it is smaller then the others.

Oh yes, I remember this picture. I can see the resemblance, but they're definitely not Pams and Pam is definitely not a Suky ;)

I posted about a pair of dolls on Feb 7, two Pamela Love Ultra Hair dolls, which I had never seen before. There was a hassle with my address but today I finally received them.

I had just done my daily check for Pamela Love on Dutch Marktplaats.nl, when I noticed a new ad had been put up in the doll collecting department, containing 6 Pam Love dolls and 1 other 6" doll. And yay... the other doll seems to be another Fairlandtoy doll, which I'm DYING to collect as well (so far I have only one). And yay... one of the Pams is wearing a dress I don't have yet!

And YAY, the seller lives like 2 kilometres away from me!!! Hehe :D Hope I can pick them up tomorrow. She already accepted my offer :)

Oh my God. OH MY GOD. I found 4 gorgeous new style Pamelas on German eBay, two of which are coloured!!!!! I've dreamed of black Pamelas for so long..! I found them by accident, they're not called Pamela Love in the ad, so I'm hoping hoping hoping that other Pamela Love fans won't find them.. Two days ago a few dolls and their clothes went for 40€, I had to let them go cause I couldn't afford that...

What's funny though... I had such a small wishlist left, having almost everything Pamela Love there is out there by now... and it seems like I'm getting everything on my wishlist this week. A Bobby Love Super doll, the Las Vegas outfits I dreamed of NRFP, and now these black girls...

What will I have to search eBay for then?? Lol! My challenge will be gone... no fun :(

I got an doll on ebay that is 6 inches, marked dawn topper, but I need something descent for her to wear now, that I got her. Most of clothes is for barbie or jem size dolls. I can't post her with an outfit that makes me proud of her.

So many people on eBay who make gorgeous custom outfits for dolls like Dawn and Pippa! Or you could try making something yourself :D

I did search on ebay there was nothing, seriously if I wanted to spen over 25 dollars, maybe but there not much at all, a few knitted outfits, but I don't want a knitted outfit.
