Here are some photos of the first fashions I've tried to make for my tiny girls.First is an ultrasuede top for Pippa to wear with a pair of pants she borrowed from the Rockflowers. When I bought her she was wearing a tattered gray dress that did not…Read More

My mother recently found back all my Pams' clothing, both original fashions and homemade stuff from my childhood. I decided to dedicate an afternoon to styling my dolls using my homemade, well, crap :P. Cause to be honest, the clothes are terribly…Read More

I'm trying to decorate my dollhouse full of Pams, but it's só hard. I love regular dollhouse stuff but it's all made for a 1:12 scale, whereas 6" dolls are, what, 1:10? They're slightly too big for regular dollhouse furniture. It's not impossible,…Read More

Item number 270705688794, looks like real dawn and not Pippa, because dawn has the darkest eye makeup. Dawn's eye make up is too black, and too much mascara, like this doll. It said Plymouth, but I have never heard of that name, can someone tell me…Read More

I got some Glitter Girls on ebay out of the box, these ones came with a ring and wore gowns of silver, gold, green, red and so on, and had the names amber, ruby etc made in 1982 I think. But the dolls all either had an ugly bubble that held the legs…Read More

What do you look for when you're buying dolls online? Do you prefer NRFB or in need of some TLC, or both? I personally started out buying all the Pamela Love dolls (and other Ocean Toys dolls) I could find. I ended up with loads and loads of bodies…Read More

Comment by Evelien on February 9, 2011 at 19:19 What type of doll are you working on? :)
I'd like to start making more doll clothes as well, but I don't know how to sew using a machine and my handwork is crappy :P. Something I wanna learn!

Comment by Evelien on February 9, 2011 at 17:52 You're right about that, I have one doll that I think was very cheap (the Fairlandtoy 1983 doll from my discussion in the ID-ing group), because she is only rooted in the middle of her head, a bit like a mohawk style :P. Then again I don't want to give her new hair because A) the hair she DOES have looks fine and B) I'm afraid I'll make her less pretty when I start adding hair. So I see where you're coming from :)
I don't have a lot of rerooting experience myself, I only did two Pams and I'm "working" on the third. Yeah, not working, but "working", lol, because I stopped working on her about a year ago because of studying stress. I'll finish her soon after I graduate though. :)

not that great a doll, but I liked the rain coat, but it hard to button the top button.
