Dionysis: Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down?

For awhile now, Dio and I have been having heated discussions about her lip and nail color.  The color is pretty, I'll give you that.  But with her smoky pink shadow and green eyes, I was hearing nothing but "Do not attempt to adjust your set!"   The clash was unforgivable to me. So I changed it.  And I'm still not feeling the new color, even though my favorite color is purple. To me it looks no different than the original color...an afterthought.  

Question:  Is the new color an improvement at all?  Or is it worse than the coral? What about a dark rose with baby pink?  Other color ideas?

I do not know how the repaint artists manage to do what they do.  I'm stressed to the gills!

My favorite color is purple too....but I don't like it on her. I am not unhappy with her original color, but I think a rose would look good on her as well.

I like her original color. I think changing her by putting her in a wig can make a happy difference. She is really beautiful.

Or...a very light lip color - almost nude might really make those eyes pop. I'd love to see that.

@Terri - Nude!!  I love nudes (think Domina's color) why didn't I think of that before purple? Thanks!!  

@Sherryl - I keep leaning toward rose too...now comes the dilemma.   Nude or rose?  At least I've got plenty of acetone.   

I wish I liked her original color. I love coral, but the color on mine looked too orangey.  Is it possible for the same doll to have a slightly different shade?

I know what you mean about Dionysis' lips. Sometimes I love them and sometimes I'm blah! I think it all depends on the light and what look she is channelling at the time.

I'm afraid I'm not so keen on the purple on her though...

Very nice. I recognize the wigs. They look great on her. Her lips look better this way.

Thanks, gals...I like this better than the coral, but I'm thinking it needs to be just a tad more rosey.  Do you think it extends too far into the corners of her mouth?   Yes, I'm the most anal person I know. 

Those were some awesome wig deals I got from you, Ms. Terri!
