The Syb of the Week!
This week, Terri Gold shares how the Sybarites stole her heart.
The only story around my Sybs is that I swore I would never buy one. That decision fell away rather quickly once I tired of the Fashion Royalty drama. I realized that the money I was spending on the little dolls added up to a few Sybarites. From there it was an easy jump. The last Sybarite I purchased was Vapore. I did not intend to keep her but once I took her out of the box and gazed into her beautiful eyes, she joined the tribe permanently.

No limo required.

YES!
Driving Miss Sherryl. I can just see it now...

Comment by Sherryl Buchler on February 12, 2013 at 17:24 LOL @ Deb. Right.. I can just see my kitty Lucy being walked. Sorry... the rest of those positions are already filled. Hubby and I share great cooking.. Someone else does clean though and I am control freak so one else is going to be taking care of personal stuff... hmmm, I wouldn't mind a driver .

I did save money though. I haven't succumbed to an Abbey Lane... but who knows what the future holds.

GAH! Sherryl!! You didn't!
Adopt me PLEASE!! I'm a good cook! I'll manage all of your personal affairs! I'll clean your toilet!! Walk your dog AND your cat!!
Comment by Sherryl Buchler on February 12, 2013 at 16:51 Ahhhh, D.I.V.O.R.C.E..... I couldn't resist.

Don't get me wrong, kids, I love, love, LOVE Sybarites more than any doll in the world, but their prices, especially clothing, *ahem* ---- me off beyond belief. Many's the time I've looked at a $200+ Superfrock outfit and thought "I can make that for a fraction of the cost." Yeah, so it won't have the Superdoll trademark...big deal! I love the way clothes look in real life as well as 1:4 and 1:6 scale-life, not what their label says.
I must admit the divorce color scheme is totally doing it for me.
I'm thinking of making a merry widow/garter belt combi in these same colors. But without the pink accents...that looks like an after-thought to me.

Sorry about the rant, my dears.
