Welcome to the Superfrock Dolls group - Sybarite & INNOQUII

The Syb of the Week!

This week, Terri Gold shares how the Sybarites stole her heart.

The only story around my Sybs is that I swore I would never buy one. That decision fell away rather quickly once I tired of the Fashion Royalty drama. I realized that the money I was spending on the little dolls added up to a few Sybarites. From there it was an easy jump. The last Sybarite I purchased was Vapore. I did not intend to keep her but once I took her out of the box and gazed into her beautiful eyes, she joined the tribe permanently.

Wow, Simon, I wish I could see those Chalk Whites in person. They look amazing.  I have a question...is there a large salesroom where people sell their creations? That looks like heaven.

OMG, Nan!! SO happy for you!!!  I think I know who you got her from, or at least I hope I know them.  It's cool when you get to know (and like) certain dolly people and then they do business with others you know and like, and well...erm...yeah.    It just seems like a close-knit community that I'm honored to be a part of.

So pix stat!   Share the Domina love!

Just had to share my excitement.  I got my Domina today!  She is even more beautiful in person.  Have to get busy dressing her up and taking her pic!

Love this thread!  I discovered Sybs a few years ago, and it has become a love affair for me.  I honestly can't remember my first, but I do love all 22 of them!  I keep a "Syb List, So Far", so that has to tell you something!  LOL

I also have all 4 Innoquiis, (I call them "Syb Lite) and I absolutely love them.  Alwin Roos makes great and inexpensive clothing for them, and I have found they can wear stretchy fashions from Tonner 13" Revlons.  They can wear Syb shoes, too.  I tried to talk Val Myers into making me some fashions, as she has created some AMAZING outfits for Innoquii, but she is not currently sewing for commissions.  Maybe if we beg, she would change her mind!  LOL

I LOVE the comment Deb made to me about C&D putting crack into the resin of their dolls, and I think she might be on to something!

Cross is a gorgeous doll and I love her fashion. The doll from the past I would most like to have on a V3 body is Epochalypse.  The face, the wig, the choker, the outfit....all combine to make her a most appealing doll to me.

Another one is Seville. Her makeup is TDF.

V3s I'd like to have are Fidele and Gothica.  And I want Blade's razor blade dress.

I went back and bought Limousine, Mavarick, and Cross. They all could use a bit of restringing but for right now they are fine.  I wasn't sure I would like Cross but it turns out she is wonderful in other wigs. Limo is one of my grails and I would have taken her in any shape! There are a few older ones I would love to own but I would rather have some of the outfits since my major fun is in dress up.

I tried a few dolls who were on earlier bodies and they did not live up to what I had gotten used to with V3. It's too bad because there are two dolls I would love to hunt down some day.

Im trying to keep myself to the Version 3 body only. That way I am can "convince myself" that I dont need the other gorgeous sybarites and that I can only collect ones that come out in the past 2 years or so. Im hoping that will keep the herd down!
