Welcome to the Superfrock Dolls group - Sybarite & INNOQUII

The Syb of the Week!

This week, Terri Gold shares how the Sybarites stole her heart.

The only story around my Sybs is that I swore I would never buy one. That decision fell away rather quickly once I tired of the Fashion Royalty drama. I realized that the money I was spending on the little dolls added up to a few Sybarites. From there it was an easy jump. The last Sybarite I purchased was Vapore. I did not intend to keep her but once I took her out of the box and gazed into her beautiful eyes, she joined the tribe permanently.

Okay, you are all scaring me! I got Innoquii off of eBay. But I will admit I went to the superfrock site to see if they had more for sale, and they didn't. I can't see at all, so I figured if I got another Innoquii, I could at least maybe mix and match the fashions between them. See how I work that?! LOL!

I would like one of Pauls' dolls. I overslept that morning and kicked myself afterwards. I don't want to pay the inflated current prices so I will just have to wait.

Emilia's doll just didn't do it for me. I think I am really just stuck on the Sybs for right now.

This thread is pretty funny. My first was Talc. Then Geometry showed up. A few others have joined the tribe. I feel like I have enough and I just purchased Emilia's doll. If I buy another 16" resin, she will be different. She may be a he. I don't think I would spend what is required to get one but I'd love a Deva male. They are most stunning, hot male dolls ever.

Yep, I saw her too, Sherryl.   But $1,000 is too much. The other prospect I've got is willing to sell her much cheaper. Not on the cheap by any means, but a fair price.

I hope to have Geometry in my collection some day, too!  I just love her face-up.

A year ago November I got my first Syb... Geometry. I am now owned by 14 of these ladies. Good luck sticking to just one!!

Deb.. I just saw someone on Prego has Mood for sale.

Haha!   "Failed spectacularly!"  YES! That is exactly what I did!  I remember getting the SD box from the Post Office and thinking "What the...?!" due to the enormous size of it.

When I took Dio (Dionysis) out and held her in my hands, I remember muttering "Oh my God, I'm in trouble."

I got her in January, Maverick in February (thanks, Lady L!) and will get Cadenza at the end of March.  I've got my sights set on Mood, but I'm always on the lookout for Sybs, so she might get bumped down to the #2 spot.    Just like you, Jo, I love them to death. The attraction is bordering on unhealthy, but I can't help myself, they make me so damned happy.

Tread very carefully, dear divafan...

Goodluck on keeping to 1 Sybarite.  Tried and Failed spectacularly! My collection is about 5 months old and its basically almost one a month.... But I love them so much!

Oh boy, divafan...I think you're in for a shock. But a good one!  If you can keep it at one, you are going to have my undying admiration.   I thought I'd get one Syb and get the whole Sybarite "thing" out of my system.  If I only knew...

Did you score your Traveler off Ebay?  Or was it The Doll Page? I've seen her for sale some place lately, just can't remember where. Last time I checked Superdoll they still had Innoquii for sale, so maybe you scored her there.  She is fabulous all right!  But ya know, I never thought of the clothes issue until just now...how are you with a sewing machine?

Please don't forget to share pictures with us when you get her!!  I'm very excited for you.

Hi y'all, I'm a little nervous. I just received my very first non-Integrity doll in the mail since I began collecting fashion dolls. She is Innoquii Traveler. I have loved her and wanted her since I first saw pictures of her. I love her eye spot! I really do not want to collect more of these dolls -- I hope I can keep it to just one! But I have a question -- since there are only 4 Innoquii, where does one find more clothing for them? I don't know of other 14" dolls... Thanks!

Hey, Kids!  I'm still buttoning up the specifics on the contest, so stay tuned.

@Nan - Dionysis was my first Syb. Up to that point I had resisted the siren song of the Sybs.  Then Wil H. offered his Dio for a ridiculous price, so I took the plunge, and it ruined me for any other doll, including my 6 Avantguards.  Don't get me wrong, I still love them and would never sell them, but I think they put crack or something in the Syb resin.   Or maybe they're like Lay's potato chips...one is only the beginning of a horrible obsession.  Or maybe that's just me needing to up my dosage.

OHMYDOLL you have one of MY grails, Nan! Right now I'm working out a deal to get my hands on Mood.  I haven't really come to terms with what I potentially might end up spending, but I am sooo tempted.  And like you, Terri is KILLING me with her Domina!  She was one of the first Sybs that made me take a second look, and say "hey...wait just a minute, here..."

It was all but over right then and there, I just didn't know it yet.
