'August Theme: Rock & Pop' photo competition entries

Hi Dollobservers,

Add your 'Rock & Pop' themed doll pics to this discussion using the 'image' icon on the far left of the discussion tool bar.

The 'rules' of the theme photo competition are very simple:

  • Your photo must contain a doll or dolls
  • Make sure the photo relates to the spirit of the relevant month's theme
  • Members should enter one photo only per theme (although you are free to add more but please highlight which particular photo you would like to go forward into the competition)
  • Make sure to have fun!

yeah! she is gorgeous! 

even if I am more rock & roll/jazzy, kind of music, I should say that Lady Gaga is a great artist and I youtube her quite often (I'm even a FB fan hee hee)

Finally have time this week to comment on everyone's work, hope you don't mind it all being together;


Happy Days..what can I say, love everything from the pose to the lovely lace peeking out of Barbie's circle skirt.

Glam Rock Sindy. This is so cute, I love the colours and the neatness of those stitches..wow.

Badvalentine. Your dolls are amazing, and I love the way you shot their portraits.

Gunner and The Dollies ..this is proptastic :D You have really captured the band experience Catherine

Jack with Axe (my title) by Tamara. Very cleverly done, love how you've put him on stage, and his costume is just right.

Lady Gaga - Mark ..Staggers back in amazement at sparkly bits, love the angle of shot as well.

Well that's it folk's for the August 2011 theme. A huge thank you to all those who entered. We have had some splendid entries and this has been a hugely fun theme, well done!

I can't wait to launch September theme ;-)
