Hi Dollobservers,

The theme for June is 'London Calling'. Add your themed doll pics to this discussion using the 'image' icon on the far left of the discussion tool bar.

The 'rules' of the theme photo competition are very simple:

  • Your photo must contain a doll or dolls
  • Make sure the photo relates to the spirit of the relevant month's theme
  • Members should enter one photo only per theme (although you are free to add more but please highlight which particular photo you would like to go forward into the competition)
  • Make sure to have fun!

Remember the Prize now stands at a whopping $50!

In the fine English tradition of being bejeweled, the Princesses of York and the Duchess of Cambridge step out for the Jubilee!

Nilsa, I LOVE this with the Queen with Harry and William!!!

I don't have British themed props  except for a mini Big Ben -  Here is what I came up with.

Elizabethan Queen Barbie (from The Great Eras Collection) represents England's past - Queen Elizabeth I.

Grandma Barbie is representing (with all due respect) Queen Elizabeth II - England's present day.

Both Tommy dolls, one holding the flag and the other holding the Big Ben, represent England's future.

The Jubilee logo is from the Internet.

Hope you like it,

Nilsa

Awesomeness Barbara!!! LOVE this one too! Such great entries this month, I'm enjoying them all!

thanks so much Lilly. After I posted the photo I realized I forgot to add the short gloves for the Queen!!

Take care.

Barbara, I'm loving your dolls gorgeous gowns!!

Thanks a lot Deb!

Wanted to use a Tommy and a Todd but then I didn't have the outfit in bigger size so they have to be the same size.
